Spoločnosť Clarivate rozšírila platformu Web of Science o ďalšie samostatné databázy, indexy Preprint Citation Index a ProQuest Dissertations & Thesis Citation Index. Obsah databázy sa rozšíril o ďalšie typy dokumentov, ako sú preprint, dizertačná práca a diplomová práca. Bibliografické záznamy obsahujú základné popisné údaje o dokumente a link na plné texty v repozitári či na platformu databázy ProQuest. ProQuest patrí k popredným svetovým agregátorom informačných zdrojov pre výskum a vzdelávanie, cloudových technológií na vyhľadávanie a tiež šírenie informácií zo strany vedcov a knihovníkov.
